India is a democratic country.....That's what it was being told to me since my childhood.....But now I feel that it's not... A person gets a right to vote when he/she reaches 18....I am 21 now...That means that I even reached the age for marriage...But still I don't have my voter ID...Not only me, most of the people especially in towns and cities, don't have a voter ID. Every year, many people apply for voter IDs. Only a few get their IDs. Some people say that voter IDs are only given to those people who stands with the ruling party. If this is true, then how much democratic is this country??? More devastating truth is that only 60% of those people, who have voter IDs, cast their vote.
